Tigger's Eurovision 2006 Song Scoring Card
**********************************************
Scale: 1-10 (Ten being best)
**********************************************
Representing Country: USA (West Coast!)
**********************************************

Song #1 - Albania
Tigger Score = 6.8

I like the little "flutey" sound in the background. I think, I understand ethno-pop now, Andy.

Song #2 - Belarus
Tigger Score = 3.4

I must admit my American ignorance here. I had no idea where this country was. I had visit Wikipedia to find this country.

As for the song, didn't care for it much. "Mama Mama Mama", is that what she was saying?

Yes, Andy the song made me want to bang my head....It made me want to bang my head on a desk to knock myself out.

Song #3 - Portugal
Tigger Score = 0.9

Poor, Poor Portugal...maybe you will win a Eurovision Song Contest if you ever send a good song.

This song made me want to wretch. Sounds like a recording of a really bad floor show performed in a Home for the Aged.

She couldn't sing! Really bad.

Hello Bob & Andy:

First off I want to wish Zilla a speedy recovery, hope you're feeling better soon Zilla!

Thank you once again for a wonderful tag team pod cast guys, and I am very much looking forward to your German radio interview when it happens! Just think of me as your biggest Canadian fan!

:o)

Hey Andy, on Coronation Street this week they spoke about EuroVision, just think two months ago I wouldn't have known what they were talking about! You have so enlightened me my buddy.....oh can you hear Des groaning in disbelief in the background?

1991 - Fangad av en Stormvind
This woman loves her wind machine so much she had written a song about it?
And what is with those dancers, they really let loose and unbuttoned their suit jackets, what's next - loosening their neck ties?

1997 - Love Shine A Light
They all look like they are having great fun! World peace, love, togetherness, family.....strong message without being too sickly sweet.

1998 - Diva
Okay - so what's with the one backup singer off on her own?????
A good song but my attention was distracted by those spider arms.

And without further ado.....

Canada votes:

England - 10+++++++++
Yeah Daz!!!

Albania - 2.1
Weak and flat. There was no spark, nothing that was compelling me to listen. I don't know about EuroVision but this would make good elevator musak. What is the animal being tortured at the beginning of the video?

Belarus - 2.7
The object of the song may be the singers "dream" but this offering is my nightmare. Again it was weak, almost as if she was holding back or didn't have the vocal abilities to carry it off.
Don't think they will break the 27th mark this year.

Portugal - 1.0
May I be the first to congratulate Portugal on yet again maintaining their perfect no win record in 2006.
The sound is way too cookie cutter or contrived for my ear, absolutely no interest at all.
Oh and look, Stevie Wonder's wardrobe mistress is getting around or did this band just roll around on the wardrobe department's floor until something stuck to them?

Albania
Ethno Pop is just not my flavor but I will try to look beyond and just rate the song.
It did not make me puke it made me think of a movie soundtrack but it had that catchy type thang.
rating: 6.3

Belarus
Yeah this was a fun one for me as I liked the deep bass and it really surprised me.
They could of left out the Techno stuff in the middle and put in some wailing guitar in there.
rating:7.2

Portugal
Oh man a girl band and wow did this one make me cringe.
It was just too kid show type plastic but I bet this one could be a big winner as far as Eurovision winners I have heard from the past.
rating: 5.0
